Why do we choose beautiful over ugly?
Why do we pluck unborn flowers?
Why do we destroy what could have been a garden?

You were beautiful. You were fine.
I truly regret stealing your shine.
I should have thought. I should have known.
Your life was precious, more than my own.

// BEAUTIFUL SEA - 17.06.17
I wish you would know. I wish you could see.
I loved you more than the beautiful sea.
For all of the chaos and all of the pain.
Trembled your body into a hurricane.
I wanted to be a helping hand.
For you didn't see, but I understand.
So I wish you would know. I wish you could see.

He loves me. He loves me not.
And yet another flower died.
It screamed “ forget me not”
And I replied “ you’re a daisy”.

I knew she was your favorite. I knew you did not care.
So each time I heard laughter, I always felt betrayed.
I never knew the purpose. I never understood.
How alike you both were, and I was no good.
